Vincent Dei Santi

Vince Dei Santi, passed away in his sleep on May 6th, 2025. Vince was born in Brooklyn, New York September 18, 1952 and raised in Nutley, New Jersey. As a child, he gravitated towards music and learned drums at an early age. He graduated from Nutley High School in 1970. The same year, following graduation, he joined the Air Force Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1976. Vince's passion for music led him to many places, learning a variety of instruments such as piano, bass guitar and cello, in addition to the drums he always favored. Vince worked as a sound engineer for much of his life in New York City and in San Diego, CA where he later relocated. He adored classic film, especially comedies and shared his love for The Marx Brothers with his daughter, Alexis, as well as his love for music. A lifelong baseball fan, he loved rooting for the Padres and was an adept Little League coach for his step-son, Ernest. Vince returned to college and graduated with a degree in Psychology from San Diego State University in 1992. with a minor in Italian. A life-long learner, he also received his MBA in 2006 from Regis College, Denver CO. In later years, Vince relocated to Sacramento. He will be dearly missed by his devoted and loving wife, Linda, his sister Chris and his daughter, Alexis.
