Thomas Franklin Payne

Thomas Franklin Payne was born December 8, 1960 to Franklin and Autery Payne in Modesto, CA. His light was extinguished on May 23, 2026.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa and daughters Grace Payne and Jessica (Mason) Enderby - as well as his sisters, Lynda Payne, Patsy Payne, and Shirley Brooke; niece, Shari (Bill) Hughes with Hailey O’Hughes; nephews, Tony Franklin, and Allen Brooke

Born and raised in Modesto, Tom graduated from Stanislaus State with a degree in Music. He and Lisa met in the orchestra at First Baptist Church of Modesto. They were married in 1988. They were blessed with two daughters who share his love of music.

Tom’s kindness was an encouragement to those around him. He honored those who sought to worship God with their musical gifts, regardless of their background.
