With grateful hearts for a life beautifully and actively lived, we celebrate Steven Wayne Cassinelli, who passed away on February 19th, 2026, at the age of 77.
Born June 20th, 1948, in Stockton, CA, Steve filled every room with light, laughter and energy, always delivered with a commanding voice. From an early age, it was clear that he had an enthusiasm for life. He pursued numerous sports and hobbies, was a collector of so many things and loved to regale you with a story.
Steve built a life centered on love, following one’s passions, and hard work. Whether working as a Real Estate Broker or pursuing personal interests like flying or hunting, he approached everything with enthusiasm and heart. He believed deeply in family, growth, and commitment; beliefs that shaped the way he lived each day.
In 1974, Steve married Linda, beginning a partnership filled with love, devotion and adventure. Together they raised children, traveled, built a home and business. He was a proud parent, grandparent, friend, and mentor; always cheering from the sidelines, showing up without being asked, and offering steady encouragement and help.
Those who knew Steve will remember:
· The way he was always excited to tell you about his latest passion or project.
· The advice and support he gave freely and generously.
· The way he made people feel seen and important.
More than achievements or titles, Steve measured success by the love shared and the memories created. Family gatherings were brighter because of him. Friendships lasted decades because he nurtured them. He had a remarkable ability to turn ordinary days into cherished memories.
Steve leaves behind a legacy of love and is survived by his wife Linda, son Dennis, daughter Crystal and grandson William. He was welcomed into eternal rest by his father William, mother Clara and daughter Denise.
Though we mourn the loss, we are profoundly grateful for the years we were given. The love Steve shared continues to live on in stories told, lessons remembered, and hearts forever changed.
In honor of Steve’s generous spirit, the family invites you to donate to a cause of your choosing in remembrance. A celebration of life will be held at 2pm, on Sunday June 7th, at Northridge Country Club, 7600 Madison Ave, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
