Stephen Rhoads, died Saturday, August 22, 2026. He was 81. Known for his magnetic personality and charm, inexhaustible kindness, and ability to offer sage advice, Papa Steve will be remembered for his love of books, the outdoors, and affinities for the opera and salsa dancing. He is survived by his wife Mirta, his children Mohja, Josué, and Martin, and his granddaughters Maya and Lyra.
