Sandra Kay Yeast

Sandra (Sandi) K. Yeast (80) of Sacramento California passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 3, 2025. Sandi was born to Georgia and Howard Baker in Dayton, Ohio on January 30, 1945, and raised in Sacramento. Sandi is survived by her two daughters Erin and her husband Chuck, Kelli and her husband Robert, two grandsons Dylan and Cameron, and her sisters Linda and her husband Tim and Cindy. Sandi was predeceased by her husband Dennis.

Sandi graduated from Encina High School in 1962, where she met Dennis. She went to Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA for her nursing degree before working for 39 years as a nurse, the majority of them being in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sutter Memorial Hospital before retiring.

Sandi had different titles in her life, but her favorite was “Nana” to her two grandsons, attending scouting events to baseball games, or having them spend the night. She was a loving and devoted grandmother who loved to spoil them rotten.

Sandi loved golfing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She was deeply loved and will be missed by many from all walks of her life.

Sandi’s family will host a Celebration of Life on Friday January 30, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Sierra View Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 6201 Fair Oaks Blvd. Carmichael, CA 95608. Reception immediately following with information to be provided at service.
