Richard Walker Grant II

July 17, 1974 — August 9, 2025

After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, Richard “Rich” Grant passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on July 17, 1974, in Burlingame, California, Rich grew up and worked in the Sacramento area dedicating more than three decades to the craft he loved—painting automobiles and working in the auto body industry. His talent for transforming cars into works of art was admired by colleagues and customers alike.

Rich is survived by his beloved daughters, Sabrina and Savannah; his sister, Sandy; his nephew, Nick; and his best friend of over 20 years and business partner, Jason. Those who knew him will remember his generous spirit, humor, and the light he brought into every room.

A memorial service celebrating Rich’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Sierra View Funeral Chapel in Carmichael. All who knew and loved Rich are invited to gather, share memories, and honor his life. A reception will follow, with details provided at the service.

The Grant family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from family and friends. They are especially thankful for the compassionate care and kindness shown by the nurses and staff at Midtown Oaks Post Acute and Kaiser Hospice during Rich’s final days.
