Paula Helene Weiss

Paula Helene Weiss was born on March 25, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York and passed away peacefully at 80 years of age on December 30, 2023 with family by her side. She was a loving daughter, devoted wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandma and so much more. She was an adventurer at heart and travelled to the outer edges of the world with her husband by her side. From her early days at Harpur College to her teaching career at Robla School District, Paula developed a passion for politics and became involved with lobbying efforts at CalSTRS. She will be remembered well by those around her. Paula is survived by her husband of 59 years, Melford Weiss, her younger sister Deborah, her two children, Nicole and Stacey, and two grandchildren, Connor & Samantha.

Fun Fact: Paula enjoyed hosting bridge card parties, playing solitaire and bird watching.
