Myrna Comer, age 90, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a life rich in creativity, curiosity, and love. She is survived by her daughter, two sons, and three granddaughters, all of whom were deeply touched by her strength, warmth, and enduring spirit.

Born in New York, Myrna began her life with a deep love of reading and learning that stayed with her throughout her years. Her adventurous nature led her to live in many places, including Puerto Rico, before ultimately settling in California. She especially loved tropical destinations, finding joy and inspiration in warm climates, beautiful landscapes, and new cultures.

She was a loving mother who cared for her children deeply with all of her heart. She was always there for them every step of the way, no matter the path they chose, inspiring them and gently guiding them in the right direction. Her unwavering support, wisdom, and encouragement were constants in their lives and remain one of her greatest legacies.

A knitter since her teenage years, Myrna was a true master of her craft. She designed and created countless garments, many of which she proudly wore herself. Beyond knitting, she was an accomplished designer and seamstress, skillfully crafting a wide range of clothing with remarkable precision and artistry. Her hands were rarely still, and her creativity was a defining part of who she was.

She will be remembered as an avid reader, a traveler at heart, and a woman whose creativity, devotion to family, and independent spirit shaped her life and inspired those around her. Her legacy lives on in the garments she made, the values she instilled, and the family who loved her deeply.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
