Merlin Leroy Fagan Jr.

Merlin was born in Dubuque Iowa. As a youngster, he enjoyed spending time on our relatives family farms. Our parents relocated to Palo Alto CA in the mid-50s. Merlin enjoyed playing sports during his school years. As a teenager, Merlin spent a summer working on a Montana cattle ranch. His experiences with agriculture led to a Animal Husbandry degree, from Cal State University at San Luis Obisbo. The California Farm Bureau hired him after graduation. He participated in various projects, being part of the " Got Milk " promotion was a favorite. After retiring,  Merlin enjoyed world travel. His trips to Ireland, and a trip to Japan, stood out. Merlin enjoyed hunting and fishing, as time allowed. He considered time with neighbors, playing bridge or just hanging out, time well spent. Merlin tried to be a good citizen of this world, and a great big brother.
