Mary Ann Curtis
Granite Bay, CA
There was something about Mary... Mary Ann Curtis who passed 1/5/26. Born Mary Ann Hanna 1/28/35, she was the youngest child of Ralph & Hazel Hanna of Oklahoma City (following Marshall, Jim & Monda). A lifelong learner her joys were piano, classical music, painting, history, literature and gardening. Later in life she enjoyed traveling the world with her second husband John "Jack" Curtis, the love of her life, who she's now joined. Together they had a successful business, Curtis Electro Devices.
She's also now reunited with her youngest child Victor Neeley (who passed at 57 on 2/3/20) and second born Shelley (who died soon after birth). She is survived by her eldest daughter Cynthia Anderson (& her children Matthew & Caroline), her third child Pamela Hanna and Victor's children with Karen (Christopher & Stephen).
She was 100% what you see is what you get. She spoke her mind yet remained well liked. She was fascinated by the universe and life beyond. Her favorite quote: "We are not humans beings having a spiritual experience... We are spiritual beings having a human experience." -Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.
But she had a special place in her heart for OU football... To the very end. Only wish they'd made it to the Rose Bowl. So close. My wish for her is she's found the peace she was seeking.
