  • Marilyn Green, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, veteran, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, in Roseville, California.

  • Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving parents, Elsie Green and Robert Green Sr.; her sister, Novella (May) Green; her husband, Fred Harris; and her beloved grandsons, Kaveon Plummer Lee and Marquon Vasquez.

  • Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Marilyn was the cherished daughter of Robert Green Sr. and Elsie Green. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family and was one of eight siblings. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Evelyn, Robert Jr. (Bobby), Janet, Patrick, David, and James (Jimmy).

  • Marilyn proudly served her country in the United States Air Force and later continued her service in the military reserves. Her dedication, strength, and commitment to others were qualities that remained with her throughout her life.

  • Following her military service, Marilyn worked as a baker, bringing joy to many through her talent and hard work. Most importantly, she devoted herself to her family as a homemaker, creating a home filled with love, warmth, and support.

  • Marilyn was a devoted mother to her four children: Ida, Janet, Marcia, and Maurice. She took immense pride in her family and was blessed with 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her tremendous joy and happiness.

  • Those who knew Marilyn will remember her for her resilience, kindness, loving spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family. She touched countless lives through her generosity, wisdom, and caring heart.

  • Marilyn’s legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and many friends who will forever cherish her memory.

  • Though she is no longer with us, her love, strength, and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
