In Loving Memory of Judy Ann Parr

November 11, 1943 – August 30, 2026

Judy Ann Parr, 82, passed away on August 30, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her dearly and will miss her more than words can express.

Judy was born on November 11, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, to Marion and Willy Janke. Born and raised in Los Angeles. She later moved to Granada Hills, where she lived for more than 30 years. In 2018, Judy moved to Sacramento, where she spent the final eight years of her life. Judy built a life filled with family, laughter, unforgettable memories, and a personality that was truly one of a kind.

At just 19 years old, Judy became a mother to her son, Dwayne Lunsford. She was a very active and devoted parent, always showing up and supporting him in every area of his life. Judy worked as a bank teller for Bank of America for more than 20 years. She worked hard and built a life centered around the people she loved most. Judy also shared a very special bond with her granddaughter, Kayla Mueller, whom she lovingly raised for five years. She put her own needs and wants aside to give Kayla the love, care, and support she needed. The bond they shared was something truly special, and those years together created memories that will always be treasured.

Judy was known for telling it like it was. She spoke her mind, kept things real, and never needed to pretend to be anyone other than herself. Her straightforward nature, unique personality, and the memories shared with her made her someone who will never be forgotten.

Some of Judy's favorite moments were spent enjoying life's simple pleasures, especially going to the casino with her sisters, playing bingo, shopping, and feeding her squirrels. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her great-grandchildren. She loved being around Andrew, Alyssa, Audrina, and Adam. Those moments brought her joy and created precious memories that her family will hold close to their hearts forever.

Judy is survived by her two sisters, Mary Beetley and Cathy Hessman; her son, Dwayne Lunsford; her granddaughter, Kayla Mueller; and her four great-grandchildren, Andrew Mueller, Alyssa Mueller, Audrina Mueller, and Adam Mueller. Her love will continue to live on through each of them and the generations that follow.

Judy’s family will carry with them the memories of her love, her strength, her honesty, her laughter, and all the little things that made her who she was.

Though saying goodbye is never easy, Judy leaves behind a lifetime of memories and stories that will continue to be shared. She was greatly loved, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Until we see each other again, you will forever be loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.

See ya later, alligator. 🤍🕊️
