Joyce Waroff

Joyce passed away in her sleep June 29, 2025. She is survived by her husband Bill, her sons David and Robert, and her grand daughter Megan.

Joyce was raised in Poteau, Oklahoma on a small farm, and enjoyed a happy, rural childhood with parents Edward and Lyda Dotson and brothers William and Bob. She attended a two room school and often rode to school on her horse, Browny. 

She and husband Bill were married in 1953 in Winters, California. Her chief occupation was making a loving home for her family. Joyce loved automobile trips throughout the state, and boating on the Sacramento delta. She loved her home and many friends, and was in turn loved by all who knew her. 

A simple family farewell service will be held at graveside.
