Joseph Clarence Silva

Joseph (Joey) Clarence Silva, age 76, passed away on July 18, 2025, in Carmichael, CA, and is now with his Lord. Born in San Jose, California, on March 10, 1949, to Joe and Ann (Annie) Silva. Joseph grew up in a close-knit immediate family, surrounded by a large extended family that played a significant role in his life. He attended local schools, graduating from San Jose High School in 1967 before transferring to San Jose Community College, where he earned his AA degree. He was known for his love of sports and music. Joseph leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Frances Fernandez Silva; daughter, Deanna Silva; son, Aaron Silva; grandchildren, Ryan, and Madison Rogers; brother, Jim (Jimmy) Silva; his brother-in-laws, Ernie and Frank; sisters-in-laws, Margie (deceased) and Lorrie Silva. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, cousins, and many lifelong friends. All who knew and loved Joseph will hold him close within their hearts, and he will walk with us throughout our lives, until we meet again. His memory will always bring us warmth and comfort. We miss you. A celebration of life in honor of Joseph will be held at 1200 noon on August 30, 2025, at 12730 McKenzie Road, Galt, California.
