John William Truxaw

John William Truxaw passed away Friday July 25, 2025. He was 72.

Johnny was born April 29, 1953, in Anaheim to Robert and Patricia Truxaw. He was a graduate of Servite High School and UC Berkeley and received a law degree from UC Davis.
Survivors include former husband David Weiss, sisters Patsy and her husband John, Evie (Mark), Marguerite, brothers Paul and his wife Peggy, and Michael. He leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews Annie, Bobby, Brian, David, and Erin and finally grandnieces Emma and Charlotte and grandnephews Jacob and Logan.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bobby and sister Maureen. He is and will be missed by family including scores of cousins, many friends, and former colleagues. He will be remembered for his passion for the family and a love of the outdoors and photography. Johnny was intense, charismatic, quick witted, generous, cynical and sentimental.
