Jerry C. Farnsworth

Jerry C. Farnsworth, December 6, 1929 - July 29, 2021. Born in Colusa, California and resident of Sacramento since 1937. A beloved father and brother, he is survived by his 2 daughters, Anna Farnsworth and Karen Horwitz (David) and sisters Dolores Souza, Nikki Witt, and Janet Rhodes, and his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jacob Horwitz. Predeceased by his first wife of 30 years Anna Lou"Sammy" and his second wife Jenny and three brothers, Robert, Donald, and Charles. A veteran of the Korean War, he retired from McClellan AFB Engineering Dept. in 1984 after 32 years of service. A kind-hearted and generous man who loved helping others, he was devoted to his church, Our Lady of Assumption, where he was a parishioner since the 1960s. He loved camping, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of the Happy Hobos Camper Club and the Carmichael Elks. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Assumption parish on Thursday, August 12, at 11:00a.m. at 5057 Cottage Way in Carmichael.
