Gloria Rose Adao

Gloria Rose Adao, born on October 28, 1926 in Cambridge, MA, passed away on January 12, 2024 in Roseville, CA at the age of 97.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Rick Adao;  sisters Elena Ponte, Cecelia Sykes, Dolores Lima and Anita Rodrigues. She is the loving mother of Wayne (Deb), Robert (Debra) and Steven (Kellie); 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister Carmen Alfonse from New Bedford, MA along with many nieces and nephews.

Gloria loved to be with her family. Her favorite past time was playing cards and Mexican train dominoes. She was an avid Oakland Athletics fan and never missed their games on TV.

Gloria retired from the Santa Clara School District 36 years ago, and moved to Roseville in 2002. She was a member of the Single Seniors Social Club.

A Celebration of her Life will be held in the near future.
