Gary Lee Martin Sr., 69, of Rancho Cordova, California, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 5, 1955, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Donald Lee and Ruby Jean Martin, Gary is preceded in death by his parents. 

1. Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon, "Cookie," and his children Byron (Virginia), Gary Jr. (Megan), and Cherie (Jeff), as well as his stepdaughter, Celeste (Ernie). He also leaves behind his brothers: Jeff (Linda), Larry (Margie), and Greg, along with numerous cherished grandchildren: Jessie, Ashlee, Haylee, Brandon, Emilee, Gary III, Alex, Eric, Karlee, Nicholas "Rebel," Jeffrey, and Anna. Additionally, Gary was the proud great- grandfather of Cruz, Ava, and Allie, and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

3. Gary proudly served his country in the U.S, Army before transitioning to a career as a cross-country mover, where he earned the esteemed of Master Mover, which he held for over a decade. His profession allowed him to travel with his family, helping countless families along the way.

5. Known for his kindness, compassion, and generosity, Gary was the type of person who would give you the shirt off of his back. A devoted family man, he deeply valued his loved ones and touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

7. A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Saturday, December 28th, 2024 at 11:00AM, at Bayside Church Granite Bay, 8191 Sierra College Blvd, Roseville, CA 95661.
