Everett V. Wohlford

March 18, 1921 — November 7, 2019

Everett Villers Wohlford was born on March 18th 1921 in Medford Minnesota to John and Effie Wohlford. He had one brother, John Wohlford and a sister, Darlene Rowe, both deceased. His nick name "Red" stuck with him all his life due to his strong red hair. He was raised in Fairbault, Minnesota. Red grew up on the golf course across the street from his house. He started playing at the young age of Eight and continued until Ninety Four. He loved playing with his many friends over the years. He mastered the game and won several local tournaments. Red served in WW11 in the 14th Air Force, 76 Fighter Squardron in China with the Flying Tigers under General Chennault. He was an Aircraft Mechanic for P-40's & P-51's from 1942 until 1945. His brother John was serving in the War at the same time. Red was always an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served as a Stake Missionary, Home Teacher and helped build the Stake Center in Sacramento where he lived for 50 years. He volunteered in any way he could to assist others. Red worked in the Insurance & Real Estate Business and did so until he was 82. He is the Father of two sons, Mark & Brad Wohlford of Sacramento,California and one daughter, Roxanne Rush of Annapolis, Maryland, and Daughter-In-Laws Edith & Debbie. He has 14 Grandchildren,and 32 Great Grandchildren. We love you Dad, will miss you, and will hold you forever in our hearts.
