Elizabeth Ann Glaser Hoffman

May 29, 1956 — July 15, 2025

Sacramento

Elizabeth Ann Glaser Hoffman was born in California on May 29th 1956 to her parents Antoinette and James Glaser. Raised in Carmel California as the oldest of 6 with her siblings Margaret, Kate, Maree, James & Nick. As the oldest she was appointed to all duties that included babysitting, driving her brothers and sisters to and from the beach club, or cruising solo around Carmel beach. She was a go getter. She loved playing tennis at Carmel woods courts with friends and hanging out at still water cove jumping off mermaid rock. She also started working at a cute shop in Carmel with her friends where she enjoyed being a social butterfly. As she became an adult she packed up and set her sails for Santa Barbara to attend college and that's where she met her late husband Steven. They quickly fell in love and started their life together. After a stint in college they packed up & started traveling near and far, living in lake Tahoe, visiting the Midwest and ended up settling in Arizona where their first son Nathan was born in 1981. After a few years in Arizona they decided to head back west and made a place they could call home in Sacramento CA where Logan, Spencer and Parker were born. She entrenched herself with her boys and all their sports, school and extra curricular activities. Even when she became a widowed single mother in 1992 that didn't slow her down. She continued to raise her four boys on her own doing everything she could for them. She not only took them to school, she packed their lunch daily, made breakfast and cooked just about every night. Whether it was sports at the baseball or soccer fields, she kept busy with her boys. She was on the swim team board, team mom for baseball teams and personal chauffeur for her sons and their friends in her minivan throughout their youth. As her kids grew up they all stayed close and started having families of their own with the first grandchild Austin born in 2007. Followed by the first granddaughter Lana in 2008. She helped babysat, played board games with them and always kept them entertained. She loved having the grandkids over all the time. Soon after more grandchildren were welcomed into the family. Madison, Kristian, Jayden, Bryce and Zoe. And even more bonus grandchildren in 2023. The kids brought her so much joy. She hosted many birthday parties for the kids and summers were filled with lots of laughter playing in the pool. She loved going to the kids sports games whether it was baseball, soccer, swimming or other sports. That kept her busy and happy along with staying close with her sons, siblings and friends with daily phone calls of listening, giving advice and or giving you her opinion and always speaking the truth. She dedicated her life to her kids and grandkids, that's what truly made her happy. She will be greatly missed and her legacy will live through everyone she touched forever.
