Dianne Marie Smartt

Dianne passed away in Sacramento, California, after a battle with thyroid cancer, leaving behind a family who will deeply miss her presence and strength. She was born in Stockton, California, and carried with her a quiet resilience throughout her life.

Dianne was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Tim, a caring mother to her daughters, Beth and Becky, and a stepmother to Melissa. She is also survived by her beloved grandkids: Jacob, Linda Jean (LJ), and Braden, who brought her great joy. She is survived by her brother, Dan, and her sister, Kathy, who will remember her with love.

Dianne had a deep affection for animals. She found comfort and creativity in sewing and baking. She shared a special love for camellia flowers, a passion passed down from her mother. A dedicated fan of the Chicago Cubs, she rarely missed a chance to cheer for her team.

Known for her toughness and quiet nature, Dianne could be hard to read at times, but those closest to her understood the depth of her care and commitment. She lived her life with strength and independence, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her.

She will be dearly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
