Devan Theodora Boylan (Ivaska), 48, also known as ‘The Pretty One’, died peacefully in her sleep on September 13, 2026, surrounded by people who loved her deeply.

Devan was a devoted mother to her three children, Xander, 22, Logan, 20, and Mackenzie, 17. She raised them right - on Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Rocky Horror Picture Show, David Bowie, Jason and Irish Drinking Songs! They were the light of her life and each was loved unconditionally by their mother.

Devan was also a dedicated friend to many and would always make room at her dinner table (or the tv tray in the living room) and share anything and everything she had in the world with those in need of help. Her life-long friends Susan, Jill, Dani, Gabby, Christine (sister-cousin) and Mick were at her side through most of life’s challenges (and Devan faced many in her 48 years), including her last 18 months battling colorectal cancer.

Devan is survived by her mothers, Catherine “Casey” Boylan and Cheryl Sears; her stepfather, Ralph Dorre-Killius; her brothers Ryan, Wes, Vinny and Mike; her sisters Autumn, Secelia, Tori and Nicole; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Devan was also fortunate to have Ed’s love when she needed it the most. Devan was preceded in death by her father, Gene Killius.
