Deborah Dee Jones

Deborah Dee (Dirks) Jones, 77, of Merced, CA went to be home with the Lord on November 8, 2025 in Folsom, CA. She was born on March 19, 1948 in Palo Alto.

Debbie dedicated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ, her family and friends and teaching first grade.

Debbie was a loving wife, devoted mother, precious sister and faithful friend. She touched the lives of countless children, instilling in them a love of learning and confidence to succeed.

Debbie was preceded by her parents, Kermit and Leah Dirks, her son, Jimmy Jones, and her sister, Nancy Smith whom she loved dearly. Debbie is survived by her husband, Everett Jones, her daughter, Jen Jones, and her sister, Jackie Nugent and numerous nieces and nephews.

Debbie's memorial service will be held at Creekside Church, 2876 G Street, Merced, CA 95340 on December 6, 2025 at 11:00AM. Donations to Creekside Church, the Alzheimers Foundation of America or the American Diabetes Association.
