David Leroy Conner Sr.

December 29, 1941 — October 19, 2025

David Leroy Conner, Sr., born December 29, 1941, quietly passed away on October 19,
2025. David’s early years were spent with his parents, Viola and Harold Conner, and
sisters Virginia, June, Nancy, and Carol in Redding, California. The family relocated to
Carmichael, California, and David graduated from La Sierra high school in 1960. After
his graduation, he served in the United States Air Force and then went on to serve his
community for 32 years as a United States Letter Carrier.

David is survived by children Dan Conner and wife Becky, David Conner, and Dottie
McKenzie and husband Mike; grandchildren Andrew, Matt, April, Chris, Lily, Ryan,
Victoriah, Silas, Collin, and Kylie; sisters June, Nancy, and Carol.
Services will be held at Sierra View Funeral Chapel (6201 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael,
95608) on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 10:00 am.
David will be remembered for his humor and kindness to neighbors. He touched many
lives through his years of service and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
