Darrell Grant Staley was born on September 16, 1938 in Westwood California to Victor and Garnett Staley. Darrell peacefully passed away surrounded by all of his children and his family on October 11, 2022 at 9:28 P.M. in Folsom California. Darrell is survived by his 5 children Karen L. Spaulding of Carmichael California, Mark V. Staley of Austin Texas, Jason D. Staley of Santa Cruz California, Sarah A. Cheney of Folsom California, and Michael L. Staley of Galt California. He is survived by his 2 brothers Wayne and Barlow Staley. Furthermore, he is survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Darrell was a resident of Sacramento for most of his life. He was in the restaurant industry for 20 years. He owned and operated 2 restaurants; the first restaurant was Gringo Bandidos in South Sacramento and the second restaurant was the Longbranch Steak and Saloon in Salinas California. Afterwards he was very successful in real estate, and he spent 20 years as a real estate broker in Wilton California. At age 70 he started his own landscape business. Darrell was adventurous and traveled often. He was a philosophical man and had a positive impact on many people. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to his family whom he loved dearly. His memory will be cherished, and he will be greatly missed.
