Carmelita Margaret Teske passed away peacefully at 95 years old, on September 22,2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 22, 1931, in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Carme was the cherished daughter of Michael and Frederica Henning. Her life was a testament to love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

On July 20, 1950, Carme married the love of her life, Richard Teske, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and joy, raising four wonderful children over the course of their 64-year marriage. Carme's legacy continues to flourish through her surviving children: Richard Teske and his wife Donna, Carolyn Krumholz and her husband Jim, and Kathy Welsh and her husband Dave. She was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren and great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her son, Russ, her parents, and six brothers and two sisters.

Carme was a woman full of life, known for her supportive nature and infectious enthusiasm. Her boundless energy was evident in her many hobbies and interests, which included tennis, bowling, bingo, and visiting her favorite casinos. She cherished every moment spent volunteering at her church and could often be found in the company of friends and family, enjoying spirited card games. Carme also had a passion for travel, savoring the adventure and discovery that came with exploring new places.

Beyond her personal endeavors, Carme was a dedicated member of her church community, where her spirit of generosity and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to The Ivy at Blue Oaks for their kindness and compassion and for the care she received from Bristol Hospice Sacramento.

At this time, no memorial is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bristol Hospice Foundation page, an organization that provided her with exceptional care and comfort.

Carme's family invites all who knew her to celebrate her remarkable life and honor her enduring spirit. Though she will be deeply missed, the love and memories she leaves behind will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to know her.
