Woodland

Byron Philleo, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 6th. In his final moments, he was surrounded by love, with his wife, Karen, faithfully by his side, along with their two beloved cats.

For 27 years, Byron shared a deep and faithful marriage with Karen, whom he often thanked God for bringing into his life. Together they built a life grounded in love, laughter, faith, and devotion to family. He was a proud and loving father to their son, Paul.

Byron had a passion for life and adventure. He loved cycling, swimming, and traveling, and he approached life with steady strength and quiet determination. To his family, he was an anchor — dependable, protective, and deeply loved.

Those who knew Byron will remember his kindness, his faithfulness, his sense of humor, and the way he made people feel safe and cared for. Though deeply missed, his love and legacy will continue in the hearts of all who knew him.

Byron is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Karen; his son, Paul; his sister, Lynne Castalucci; his brother, Chris Philleo; and many extended family members and dear friends who loved

Please join us as we honor Byron’s life, friendship, and the memories he leaves with all who knew him.
