Audie Ray Towery

Audie Ray Towery left this earth on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, following a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Kern, CA on March 28, 1956, the second son of Lee Daryl Towery and Naomi Ray (Janie) Towery. His family eventually moved to the Morada area, and he graduated from Tokay High School in 1974. He spent most of his life living in the Stockton and Sacramento areas, eventually settling in Carmichael, CA. Audie was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved the outdoors and his dogs. He was a good friend, a loving father, and a much beloved Papa who will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald Towery. He is survived by his five children: Tanya (Jeffrey) Peterson, Raemy (David) Mathis, Shauna Towery, Dustin (Hannah) Towery, and Tracy Towery; and his 13 grandchildren: Ava Madeleine (13), Audrey Genevieve (11), Liam Zeus (11), Roya Deon (9), Sutton James (8), Ryan Marshall Lee (7), Hazley Rae (7), Beck Jackson (6), Maverick Ace (5), Leighton Lee (5), Carson James (4), Banks Linen (3), Ashlyn Allen (2).
