Alec Robert MaxonShaw, a beloved son, brother, and friend, was born on May 25, 1996, in Carmichael. He embarked on his life journey filled with kindness and warmth, traits that endeared him to everyone he encountered. Tragically, Alec left us far too soon, passing away on April 7, 2025, at the young age of 28, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who loved him.
From an early age, Alec was a source of joy and laughter, known for his infectious sense of humor. He possessed an incredible ability to make others feel at ease, whether they were old friends or new acquaintances. His welcoming spirit and caring nature made a lasting impact on every life he touched.
Alec had a profound love for the outdoors; fishing was more than just a hobby for him; it was a passion that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace. His favorite moments were spent by the water, casting lines and sharing stories with family and friends. In addition to fishing, Alec was also a talented painter. His artistic expression reflected his vibrant personality and unique perspective on the world, filling canvases with color and life.
He is survived by his loving family, who will carry his memory close to their hearts. His mother, Tammy Davis, and stepfather, Casey Davis, provided unwavering support throughout his life. Alec was the cherished son of Rob Shaw and the beloved grandson of Marlene Townsend and Bob Townsend, along with Karen Johnson and Scott Maxson. He was also loved by his grandparents Toni Maxson, who brought warmth and guidance into his life. As a brother, Alec shared a close bond with Parker and Charli Shaw, who looked up to him with admiration and love.
Though Alec's time with us was cut far too short, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and artistry that will not be forgotten. As we remember Alec, let us carry forward the warmth of his kindness and the joy he brought into our lives. May his memory be a guiding light and a source of comfort to all who grieve his loss.
