Roger enjoyed auto racing and one of his hobbies was the restoration and racing of antique cars. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants baseball team and the San Francisco 49er football team. He loved music and dancing especially at the Tim & Sheila's restaurant of which he was their biggest promoter. Roger and Doris travelled all over in their motorhome either going to races, concerts, beaches, meeting up with family and friends, or simply just hitting the open road. Roger was always on the move doing things around the house, yard, garage and orchard, working on cars, or helping friends and neighbors. He was a fun loving, good natured man who will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held on June 30, 2018, at Tim and Sheila's restaurant the Powell's Steamer Company & Pub, 425 Main Street, Placerville, CA 95667 from 11 am - 1 pm.
